District Championship Fours

After a postponed start due to the rain event, the 2022 District Fours Sectional Play commenced on Monday 7 March Sectional at Solander Lake.

14 teams entered this years competition from various Clubs within the District.

The winners of sectional play were :-

  • E Regan and team – Pine Rivers

  • I Dickson and team – Kallangur.

  • I McLaren and team – Bribie Island

  • M James and team – Bribie Island.

The Semi Final and Finals were played at Bribie Island on Tuesday 22nd March.

Semi Finals Results –

  • Margaret James (Bribie Island) defeated Isobel McLaren (Bribie Island)

  • Ester Regan (Pine Rivers) defeated Iris Dickson (Kallangur)

Winner were Pine Rivers

Gwen Floyd (Lead), Dawn Denford (Third), Ester Regan (Skip) and Pat Wales (Second)

Runner Ups were Bribie Island

Margaret James (Skip), Desley McDougall (Second), Leslie Wright (Lead) and Karen Perkins (Third)
