The District Novice Singles sectionals were played on Sunday 6 June with the winners played in the Quarter Finals at Pine Rivers on Sunday 13 June.

S Brumwell (Kallangur) defeated by M James (Solander Lake)
R Lockland (Pine Rivers) defeated by J Brazier (Bribie Island)
C Warren (Bribie Island) v’s Bye
In the Semi Finals:
C Warren (Bribie Island) defeated R Stuart (Solander Lake)
J Brazier (Bribie Island) defeated M James (Solander Lake)
In the Final:
C Warren (Bribie Island) defeated J Brazier (Bribie Island)
There was some wonderful bowls played by these Novices and well done to the winner C Warren from Bribie Island and commiserations to J Brazier from Bribie Island. Well done ladies.
