2021 District Novice Pairs
The District Novice Pairs commenced at Woodford on 25 July 2021 in terrible blustery winds.
There were some lovely Bowls played by the ladies.
Section 1 was won by Gail Parker and Jaarpung Blundell (Bongaree); who go straight to the final.
Section 2 was won by Rosemary Lockland and Ann-Maree Clark (Pine Rivers) and they will play the winners of Section 3 Marion James and Raie Stuart (Solander Lake) in the semi final.
The finals of the District Novice Pairs were played on 22 August 2021 at the Woodford Bowls Club.
Semi Finals: Marion James and Raie Stewart (Solander Lake) defeated Rosemary Lockland and Ann-Maree Clark (Pine Rivers).
Finals: Gail Parker and Jaarpung Blundell (Bongaree) defeated Marion James and Raie Stewart.
Once again some great bowls were played by our novices!
Congratulations Gail and Jaarpung and well done to all our entrants!
