The 2021 District Fours are being played on the 8th, 9th and 10th March 2021.
Host clubs for Sectional Play at Toombul Bowls Club, Post Sectional at Kallangur Memorial Bowls Club and Finals at Woodford Bowls Club.
This year 17 teams from Bribie Island, Bongaree, Solander Lake, Toombul, Bramble Bay, Kallangur, Pine Rivers and Narangba nominated. Sectional play consisted of 3 Games of 15 Ends with a time limit of 2 hours and 15 minutes, in 5 Divisions.
Sectional winners were:
Section 1: L Mitchell – Pine Rivers
Section 2: R McLean – Solander Lake
Section 3: E Jensen – Bongaree
Section 4: M Geddes – Bribie Island
Section 5: J Sauer – Kallangur
Post Sectional was played on Tuesday between Mary Geddes and Jeanette Sauer at Kallangur,and was won by Mary
Geddes 18-17.
The Semi finals and final were played on Wednesday at Woodford Bowls Club. Results of the Semi finals were:
L Mitchell (Pine Rivers) defeated R McLean (Solander Lake) 20-17
M Geddes (Bribie Island) defeated E Jensen (Bongaree) 23-21
In the final Mary Geddes team defeated Linda Mitchell team 25-9
